Come on guysgirls i was hoping for some feedbk here. Question 1. Is lightning breath enough or do i need Bite as well , as i said it seems to make little differee with the damage done either way ? Question 2. was has any others had weird trking ? games with Arikara or is it just me ? as i said it follows me then suddenly stops and wanders off or will
attk a mob way beyond the nearest target ?
1. You need a 'fus dump' attk skill. A full fus bar is bad as that means its going unused. I'm not too familiar with wind serpents so you'll have to pk one from the available skills shown in Petopia or elsewhere. 2. Are you referring to pathing? Sometimes pets take weird routes around obstles. Its based on how the blks that make up
the terrain mesh together. 3. If you've got your pet on aggressive in PvE so it attks anything and everything, I've no pity for you. :p
The Bass of Wind Serpents is the only attks theyan learn are lightning Breath andlaw , as LB is as far as ian tell a fus dump andlaw is not is why i was asking aboutlaw , my thoughts are let the fus dump do its work and
that is why i asked aboutlaw. The pathing issue is weird as in no it is not avoiding obstles but more a turning off the following and going at right angles to the path i am on , it does not do it all the time but often enough for me to note and wonder if it is off to attk something i have not seen ( mining trking on ) so i miss a lot of mobs . And having pet on aggressive while doing PVE is not dangerous at all , whh shows that most have never properly tried it , the pet will only willingly attk lower level mobs , same level mobs ian almost run up to and hit them before my pets attk . Yesterday i was Doing a quest that required killing Ogres , now i am at level 35 they were a few levels lower
all i had to do was stand in the middle walk towards the mobs and kill whhever mob my pet attked , nothing hard in that at all in ft it was far simpler than keep having to selt a target for my pet all the time. The way aggressive on pets works is the lower level the mob the more the pet wants to attk , as the mobs getloser to your level the less the pet wants to attk , and if the mob is higher there is almost nohae the pet will attk unless either you or the pet is attked (so for normal play it makes no real differee that pet is on aggressive ). I offer ahallenge to any farmer to try it out , pk an area of slightly lower mobs you want to farm that you know well enough , set pet on Aggressive , remember to allow pet to do its work and heal it if needed , and if you get any problems youan alwaysael the aggressive mode , i farm and quest in aggressive mode 99% of the time and never get any problems , i am not a great Hunter but i never die bause my pet is wanting to kill everything around , what will happen is any journey by foot will take longer as your pet stops
to attk everything along the way , you will find as i do that you still have to selt the pets target at times though . Examples are prides of lions hiding in the Barrens let pet find them you just finish them off , in outland farming Warp Stalkers and the other mobs with them outside Shattrath is so easy just run around killing whatever your pet attks . Never ever do it
in a group unless it is friends of yours that know what to expt though , i would never do it in any instae unless ian already Solo it . It willhange your game play slightly if you try my mad ways but it sure is more fun , and i get more blue and green drops from mobs that i would not have got from keeping pet on defensive mode all the time..
